1 Jan 2008 - "SAY IT WITH FLOWERS"

We regularly receive very complimentary comments from visitors on how lovely the flowers are at St. Mark's. This is due to the devoted time put in by our arrangers.

But whilst the  arrangers give of their time and talents, this does not cover the cost of the flowers on display and sadly gone are the days when local gardeners would supply blooms for church from their allotments.

To try and help solve this problem we are returning to the old fashioned idea of having a "flower rota" in church. If you could help out by signing up for a particular Sunday, perhaps to mark the memory of a departed loved one, a wedding anniversary or some other significant date we would be most grateful.
